2004 SB in Roanoke, VA

I noticed a 2004 Silver Birch/Charcoal in Roanoke, VA today at a used car lot. I stopped to look at it (since I had the only SB in town until now) and found a ROUGH MM! A peek under the hood revealed a 2003 engine with black cam covers and a 5/21/02 date code on the left cover and yellow paint pencil markings on the right. It obviously has a salvage yard engine. The coolant bypass pipe showed lots of corrosion and the upper intake looked like it had been soaked in brine at some point. It has heated seats, no moon roof, no trunk organizer, and no CD changer. It was showing 6Xk miles. Asking price---> $20,995! :shake: I guess it's ok to have high hopes.
I had the VIN earlier today but can't seem to put my hands on it now. The salesman said they brought it from their Va Beach dealership.

The VIN is 2MEHM79V64X631338
Mileage is sixty-something thousand, I believe 64k but not 100% sure. I'd be interested to see what a Carfax or OASIS shows, if anything. It was originally at Select Wheels in Va Beach, now on the lot at Select Wheels in Roanoke.
It's a little rough for my taste, but might not be too bad after some TLC. Kinda looks like it never saw a decent wash job until just before they put it on the lot for sale (grungy pipes, inner wheels, etc.). They must be real fond of it judging from thier asking price.

I think this one must have been sold. I saw it today with temporary plates and I carded it and put a Maruader pen on the wiper! Hopefully the member will log in and say hi. I want to know who it is that has the other SB in town!

This same MM is for sale AGAIN at Berglund Motors in Roanoke, now with 66,302 miles. Whoever bought it in October only kept it less than 5 months.
