Just thought I'd check in and let everyone know that I'm still kicking.

In fact, I'm back in the Ford family. I picked up my 2009 Lincoln MKS last night with all the toys (I love toys). It has Sirius Travel Link. This is amazing. It tells you of traffic problems, weather forecasts, current radar, current gas prices at all statioms, movie listings and sports scores.

It also has the SYNC system which is fun to play with.

My wife didn't want to part with the Chrysler 300C, but I was getting close to the 50,000 mile mark. I must admit that the Chrysler was probably the best car I've ever owned.

That is very nice ride! I would like them to make it into a Marauder platform. It may not be the classic form, but it is a sharp ride grats!

Great hearing from you Don---WOW!! That new car looks alot like that 300 but smaller --I remember seeing it ( the old 300--LOL-) right after you got it--showing us all the new things at one of our noon meets...---oh well...just glad your back in the media with us again...

I understand how you like to keep current and not loose value....why not.... enjoy the new tech things cars have to offer...just like others......

Say hi to your "wife" --Ms M says........Tom

dok, good to hear from you, and glad to see you're back in a Ford product.

We need to get together sometime soon, let's see if we can put a Saturday lunch together for early November (Sept. is MVVI, and Oct. is the Wilmington Car Show).

Give Lola our best, Terry and E-Dubb say "hi."

Actually the Lincoln is 7 inches longer and 100 pounds heavier than the 300.

Who or what is a dok?

He was one of the original Carolina Marauders.

That's him and his 2003 SB to the left of my DTR, taken at the CLT Auto Fair, spring of 2004.

Dayum that is one sharp DTR.

Like I said in an earlier post; pristine.

Paint condition on the DTR would make my DBP look like a beater. Not swirl mark or scratch in it until..... :bigcry:

I've said it before and I'll say it again, a clean and shiney DTR smokes the other colors. If I could have another one, it would be a DTR/dark charcoal combo. And a spoiler and maybe moon roof.
