I know I've just skimmed the surface with my JLT and Xcal3, but other than going with the trilogy (thats my plan down the road) what other HP increasing parts are there?

I know a PI torque converter will lower my E/T as will 4.10s, but they are not gaining horsepower.

What else adds HP?

How bout some headers, UD pulleys, intake spacer, nitrous?

underdrive pullys woulnt get me more than 5 hp will they? And dont they more get rid of parasitic drag on the motor?
What would headers gain?

they spacer, i still dont understand, why would the intake being a half in bigger add HP

Electric or High performance water pump for the money cannot be beat.

Headers & spacer - Remember the engine is like a big air pump.... if you get more air in you need to get it out. that is why your need headers and a good exhaust system. Spacer increases the volume of air in the intake.

Pulleys will get you at least 5HP.

Electric water pump 10HP.

I think I read somewhere that the pulleys add 8 or 9HP to the wheels, and I also read that headers add 35-45HP to the wheels. The intake spacer adds more air to flow to the motor hence more HP, allthough I have heard mixed reviews about it.

There is, if it is ever released, the Hybrid power addition thingy.

Should be worth 25+ HP.

Headers.
Electric Water Pump.
If you're staying NA, then
Underdrive Pulleys.

I didn't gain any power at peak with the Intake Spacer, but it did gain in the lower rpms which made it feel stronger on takeoff and roll-on acceleration.

No power increase, but better acceleration and feel with 4.10 gears and PI torque converter.

I did dyno tests before & after each of these mods. Did many other mods that were claimed to help but didn't really get any measureable gains. Then I went with a blower because I was maxed out NA and it wasn't enough.

Take the advise of someone who has added every N/A bolt-on available before finally succumbing to the S/C siren call. Save money over all and get the S/C first. Sure its a larger outlay all at once but trust me... it will be cheaper over the long haul.

Humm, can't help but think that this should be in the shop forum, but yeah, UDs don't create power, they just bring some back from the motor and like you said reduce parasitic drag.

headers are good, Kooks X pipe for max HP or SSWorks H pipe for max torque

Put on stuff you can USE WITH and SC.

Spacer helps with volume, but I believe has more to do with heat transfer to the upper intake - lowering internal IAT's. It CAN be used and has been proven (By DR on the dyno) to add HP to a centrifugal SC setup.

Headers get ya 25-30 NA and 35-40 blown. I have the dyno graphs NA at 27HP average.

Skip the UD's if you're thinking about ANY blower.

FordNut is right - an electric WP will reduce parasitic drag, thus increasing crank output HP to the TC. However, I prefer the Stewart EMP mechanical pump. Frees HP you can feel and does not have the complications and fail points as an electric, IMO. Also flows more GPM at critical RPMs.

I did nearly every imaginable NA bolt on and the only things I really threw away were the UD's and even then I traded them to RJS for his stockers.

There you go.

Well i bought my mm used, so i have about 2 yrs of payments left, the wifey already OK'd me to do the trilogy after its payed off, i was just wondering what else there was that i might do before the car is payed off. I guess i will just play the waiting game and pay it off. Maybe do headers before then.

Thanks guys.
