:help:I am putting together a map of New England on Google Earth with pins marking where people live in New England... If interested, please PM me your address and I will mark you on the map. It should be interesting to see where all the marauders are around here. I am going to give it a couple of weeks to gather as many addresses as I can... when the PM's stop coming I am going to private message any remaining people in the area and see if they are interested. Even if you just want to give me a certain area of New England that is cool too... Maybe just say a county or something that would be cool too... I have a few addresses already and am ready for more... lets do it!

Duh... that is a good idea... I didn't even think of zip codes! If you want to just give zips that is cool! Should I label locations as to who is where or just keep it anonymous and just mark locations?

Got married in New Hampshire, inlaws live there, plan to live there someday, but don't think any of that counts right now. The map's a good idea and I'll look out for the finished product.

I never drive my car. I am scared that gasoline will explode inside my car and push the pistons up and down and put wear and tear on them - and whats worse that starts a chain reaction that turns my driveshaft. Yes my driveshaft! And that GRINDS MY GEARS!

And then my rubber will burn - my poor rubber.

Nope I dont drive at all - I dont like explosions they grind my gears, and then I smell burned rubber everywhere!

So let me get this straight. You want my address so you can tell any person on the planet who accesses the net where my Marauder and I are? With such a low number of MM's on the road, and decreasing daily, I think I'll pass.

Haha dude you are just alittle paranoid ... Marauders aren't even close to the top of stolen vehicles...now if you drove an Escalade then you got worries....

How about just a list of towns then, or do the little push pins on the map like that ?

Google would probably center the pin within the town if the town was used. No need to give street and house number, IMO.

pm sent with a link to a map even. I wouldn't worry about anyone stealing Marauders. If someone wants it bad enough, they'll get it.

:bump::bump::bump::bump:

I only have nine including myself... I guess I can guess where other people are, but I don't want to do that and be rude... if you don't want to be a part of this, post that you don't or PM me that you don't so I can make sure I went through everyone to see if they are interested or not... if you have not PM'ed me yet and want to do this, please PM me at least your zip code that way a little can be left to the imagination for privacy reasons

Thank you!

Where are you Raudermaster, Thunderbolt, and Hot-rauder? along with many others!... Paul gave me a map right to his door for crying out loud!!!

Actually, yes, they were. I believe in '04-05 the '03/'04 Marauders were like 2-4th most stolen vehicle.

I 2008 gas is more than $4 a gallon, and the Marauder is now 6 years on the road. Those facts take it off the first choice for car thieves (the pro's anyway). Look around and see what is common out there (Toyotas, Nissans, Mustangs). I'll bet those are on top of the list. The biggest market for stolen cars is parts, not whole cars. If you're still concerned, try an anti-theft device, like say a high speed hunk of lead. A hidden kill switch works well too. If it don't start, the amatures will leave it rather quickly.

Thank you.

PS: Anyone with supercharged or modified marauders, please let me know that as well.... again, don't come to me if they are miraculously gone and replaced with a stock 300a;)

America’s Most Stolen Cars 2007

The most popular cars among thieves, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau.
Here are the 10 most stolen vehicles as reported by the NICB — the number in parentheses is the model year most stolen:

Honda Civic (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Honda&model=Civic) (1995)
Honda Accord (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Honda&model=Accord) (1991)
Toyota Camry (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Toyota&model=Camry) (1989)
Ford F-150 (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Ford&model=F-150) (1997)
Chevrolet C/K 1500 (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Chevrolet&model=C/K%201500) (1994)
Acura Integra (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Acura&model=Integra) (1994)
Dodge Ram Pickup (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Dodge&model=Ram%201500) (2004)
Nissan Sentra (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Nissan&model=Sentra) (1994)
Toyota Pickup (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Toyota&model=Pickup) (1988)
Toyota Corolla (http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/default.aspx?make=Toyota&model=Corolla) (2007)

The CCC reports the ten most stolen vehicles for 2004 are as follows:
1999 Acura Integra
2002 BMW M Roadster
1998 Acura Integra
1991 GMC V2500
2002 Audi S4
1996 Acura Integra
1995 Acura Integra
2004 Mercury Marauder
1997 Acura Integra
1992 Mercedes-Benz 600

The MM was on the list of most stolen cars for a simple reason....Its a skewed statistic. The NICB (National Insurance Crime Bureau) reports the AMOUNT of cars stolen. Example 2,350 Honda Accords 1994, 2,113 Acura Integras 1997 etc...
Other statistics show the amount of cars based upon the amount of cars made. In other words if there were 120 Lamborghini Gallardos made in 2007, and ONE was stolen, it would probably be very high on the top ten list.
