For you guys running blowers, do you use mechanical or electric boost gauges? The price difference is quite considerable. Also, how do you hook up either set-up?

Auto Meter 6160 Cobalt Full Sweep Electric Boost Gauge. Needed to match an existing gauge in the pillar pod. The Stooges put it in at the same time as the Trilogy.

I use no Boost Gauge.

Electric. It has a resetable max boost memory and an adjustable boost level warning light.

Mechanical require running tubing and you have fluids entering the passenger compartment (unless, for example, you are installing a fuel pressure gauge on your hood). You can run a mechanical boost gauge, though you could wind up with leaks if you're not careful and bigger/more holes than wanted in the firewall.

Yes, the stock gauges are 2-1/16".
