I'm just looking to the future. Do I have to have a base tune on a newly installed supercharger just to drive it approx. 2 hours for a dyno tune? I've read that i should trailer my car to the dyno. I guess i would like to drive my car if possible.

If your getting a trilogy kit, it comes with a base tune

I dont know about the FIT or DR kits, but i'd assume the same.

DR's come with a base tune as well.

Witht the 'kit' you're getting, there is no base tune since it's a a custom kit to begin with. Given your questions on pulley size and so forth, it would be difficult to have a base tune.

However, you could contact Dennis Reinhart. I think he has my pre-blow-thru tuned saved somewhere. It's for the blue injectors and 9.5 PSI, but it MIGHT get you there. I'd trailer it, though. Maybe use that tune as a base to build from? :dunno:

BTW, what MAF is with your kit? The FIT came with 90MM lightning. If this is what you have, you're gonna need a bigger MAF or a MAFia. It's garunteed to peg on that D1SC! Mine pegged on a P1SC with 3.7 pulley!

Thanks for the help guys. I have an SCT Xcal3. Does anyone have a SCT tune? PM me please. I will need direction as how to down load to my computer and up load to the tuner. Thanks again, without the help of MM.net members i would be lost.

Yeah the kit comes with 90MM lightning.

Next week I should have a spare MAFia available. Works great and plugs right in to the existing wiring harness.

I had a lightning MAF on my original Vortech and it was good to 475rwhp
All cars are different.
