I am proposing a SSHS8 travel fund for Dom to drive to Commerce, GA for SSHS8 in November. I will start the fund with $50.00 which will be given to him after we have our friendship run. Who's in to help Dom travel to a great MM event.

This is really something to even be considered for such a thing. I was almost positive I was on everyone poo poo list again because I seem to be called an idiot here twice a day now. If I come there I will be sure to set some record times and I'll even make sure I have a fresh set of racing tires. Mine are almost done for the year and I was about the park the car early, but with help I will not only be there, but I'll make sure I have a story or two about almost getting arrested again. :D I can calculate this and find out what it's going to take and if I can afford it, but Glen.... geeze I really wasn't expecting this, I really wasn't. I honestly don't know what to say other than thank you.... wow.... still in shock.

I wish i could help, but i believe i have just enough to get there, back, and possibly split a room with someone (if all goes well)

Thanks everyone for the nice response. Not sure how far this will go. But, my $50.00 is waiting for you after our friendship run. If you want we might be able to perhaps go for a small wager - double or nothing?? (No fear - I will unscrew the gas.)

If no one else says so - that's generous! That's how we do it!

I'd say post it in the for sale forum. A CV or GM driver will scoop it up quick!

you should probably stick to shipping items out you have already been paid for -Dom, this guy ever sends out the tuner I paid him for I will give you 50 bucks towards your trip!:cool:

Ya I need to go back to my parents someday.

Thanks for the donations so far everyone. I will calculate what this will cost in the next day or so. Right now I'm about as sick physically as I am mentally and I need to go back and rest.

If anyone wants a sponsorship I will do it too, but I would prefer one on the windshild. I don't want a ton all over the car unless the cash really starts adding up and we can work on how long the decals will be on the car for too. Keep in mind the car will probably now do at least 12.5 so it will get the attention of a lot of people!
