We are Having a State Wide Meet At The New Moroso MotorSports Park from Oct.18 to the 19, 2008 .The address is : 17047 Beeline Hwy, Jupiter, Florida 33478. Phone # 561-622-1400. It's Opening weekend For the Brand New Track and is also The " FORD POWER FESTIVAL" weekend . The Track opens at 9 am. Drag Racing that Day cost; $40 per car. Please PM Tom ( MarauderTJA ) for Racing Details and Related items. That Evening we will be staying at "THE DOUBLE TREE HOTEL PALM BEACH "Ask For The Moroso Discount rate of $115 a Nite. ( AAA rate is $ 96.00 ). The Address: 4431 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens Florida 33410. Phone # 561-622-2260. That Evening Dinner at "Duffy's" 11588 US 1., Palm Beach Gardens , Phone # 561-721-2650. In The Morning the S.S.M. Will be Hosting a " FREE " Breakfast to all who show in the Hotel from 7 am to 8 am . Then After Breakfast we will be Heading Back to Moroso for the Ford Power Festival All Ford Car Show. Gates open at 9 am Cost per Car if Non Judged is $25, If Judged $30. Awards will be Presented at 3:30 pm. Their will be Drag Racing, A Swap Meet , Exhibition Vehicles, Manufacturers Midway, Food , Vendors , Etc. I Hope You can make it. I spoke with Moroso today. The Saturday, October 18th Drag Racing is not just bracket racing, I am working on arranging for us to be part of the "challenge series" with our own heads-up drag racing class. There are several classes racing in the challenge series including, Mustangs, Corvettes, Mopars etc. It would be great for us all to race together. Regardless of your mods, lets just have fun racing. Even you guys who have never drag raced your car before, do it here. No police, no speeding tickets, just go as fast as you can down the 1320. Practice your launch off of the tree, see how you do. It is a blast:banana2:.

COME ON GUYS LETS HAVE OUR OWN MARAUDER CLASS HERE:up: - SIGN UP! WE would be called to the line together and race together. Take pictures and video of your car. Much better than bracket racing:down:

I will not be running the 1320 however as I promised my mom that I won't drive fast anymore.:D Dennis....Rich Magindat is going to install my Laser Blinders on Friday and I will continue down to the garden spot to stay Friday and Saturday nights and hang with what I hope will be all of my Sunshine State Marauders friends. It has been way to long since we had a meet. One note for anyone who is still reading this crap...the AAA rate is $96.00 for a balcony King with the SWEET DREAM EXPERIENCE....I signed up for that with no idea what it is... but at my age a guy can dream...AT LEAST.:beer:Dennis....thanks to Zoltan and Tom for putting this together!

This State Wide Meet for Oct.18 to 19th has been POSTPONED Due to Construction Delays by Moroso. The Race Track will be closed till sometime in November, as it stands now. THIS MEET IS Canceled , Sorry Everyone. Don't forget to cancel your Res. at the Hotel if you made them.
