I have a bulb out on my headlight switch and I'm pulling the panel off this weekend. I figured that since I'm going through this trouble, I'll just replace all of the other bulbs in the gauge cluster too.

I've done some searches on this forum and online and haven't found any part numbers. Does anyone here have them?

Thanks.

I think the headlight switch is LED illuminated.

BTW Page 36 in your owners manual lists all of the replacement bulb part numbers.

Well, in my manual, it is page 32 and it reads.

To replace all instrument panel lights - see your dealer

The backlight for the headlamp switch is a dealer bulb, the cluster bulbs are the good old #194's and lot's of them. When I had to change one I changed them all the the #168 bulb which has 3 candlepower as opposed to 2 candlepower of the #194's. They make the cluster brighter, if it's too bright for you, then just turn down the dimmer.

I have tried a couple of different style L.E.D.'s, but I haven't found one that disperses the light properly, and not make the gauges darker. I was able to use L.E.D.'s for the signal arrows only since those sockets are aimed perfectly straight at the arrows.

I sent a message over to my dealer contact and will hopefully have a part # to use on the bulb. I'll post it here when I have it.

Thanks for the help everyone.

Sweet looking GM larryo340.

Just got off the phone with the parts desk at the local (to work) Ford dealer.

The guy tried looking it up, but said that he didn't have a unique part # for it and that it was probably part of the $100 light switch assembly.

Looks like I'm going to have to improvise and see if I can't make a different bulb fit in the housing, or maybe an LED so it never burns out again.

I would recommend to take out the bulb and bring it to the dealer. A good parts man will try to match it, not neccsarily by the "part number".
The bulb for the headlamp switch should come mounted in a socket, they're kind of like a christmas tree bulb. Glass bulb with leads coming out and into the socket.
