Are they still on national backorder?

My rear's probably have like 10K left in them, maybe less, so i want to know should i A just get the same (KDWS) in the rear, or pay for 4 new tires (fronts have 5k) and get KDW's (if those are possible to get.)

The only thing about KDW's would be A. It'd look odd to have 2 different tread patterns, B. if you can still get them in the rear tire size, and C. dont want to replace the fronts since they are practically new.

I held out the last time and got lucky. Mine were all out slicks with cracks, needless to say i quit driving it on the highway. It wouldn't hurt to wait because you could always go kdws or nitto in a pinch.

Or you could take the rears off, get the rims widened and go to a 305 nitto.

A few have also gone all four front size and then when they come out you can have two decent extra fronts.

They no longer make the KDW NT in 255/55R18 according the customer representative I spoke with a while back and according to their site (http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/specs/g-force-t-a-kdw/22.html).
