I know there isnt a large number of us, but I still want to get a few together to eat, cruise, car show, whatever.

There is a car show and drag race INSIDE then IOWA speedway in NEWTON.

ive had 1 PM me, going if he can. Im going to talk to a couple other guys I know that have MMs that arnt on either of the sites (even though ive told them about them)
I guessing one will go.

So were looking at 3 possible so far.

If you guys dont want to race you could do "Cruise to the woods" on October 4th and 5th. I will be there.

Im mainly thinking we can go for the car show, if anyone wants they can run through the 1/8 mile course they have.

I am not sure if I can make that or not. I would love another chance to get the car out with the For Sale sign in it, but just like the weekend of Cruise to the Woods it is a weekend I will have my daughter. And doing car shows with her is a little difficult (one more reason I am selling the car). They don't have much information on their website about that event: start time, registration time, cost, etc...

So I will put it on the calendar and see what happens.

I got a guy in M'town with no internet that has 2 MMs, I told him today and he wrote it down on the calander.

I was hoping maybe we could all meet up at the Old Chicago restaraunt just off of I-80 and Hwy 14, then maybe head to the track for the car show.

there is also the newton drive in theatre, depends on how late people want to be out that night.

Bad news--- Im hearing $25 for entry, that includes 2 adult admittance. Kids under 12 free.

I tried to call friday, answering machine.

car show 11am-3pm

the drag races are later that night

Maybe people who are going could do the car show, then go out to grab a bite.
Still unsure on price. Ive heard anything between $10-$25

Hey, we're driving out to Gettysburg on Friday. That'll be about 4 hours.(especially with a pit stop or two). But that's nothin' in a Marauder! :) Wish I could get to Iowa in 4 1/2 hours. That's goin' home for me.
