My wife and MMVille

Okay so my wife drives an 04 DTR. Basically the only thing she knows about the car is that it goes when you put gas in it and it gets decent highway miles (thats all she drives). Up until this point she has banned me from doing anything to her car other than a K&N drop in filter.

When we went to MMville she saw some of the other cars and had some questions.

#1. Why she did not have a CAI? I told her I wanted to put one on, and she said no. Naturally she does not remember this and now one must be installed on her car.

#2 Why did my MM have SS inserts and hers did not? I told her that I asked her if she wanted them and she said "no". Now I have to get another set of inserts.

#3 Factory Spoilers? Why does she not have one and when will I get her one?

#4 She also liked the badgeless grilles and the Gods head logo grilles... hopefully she'll forget about those until I can get one...

So now I guess my car budget is taken up for the next couple months. First on the list is the CAI, then the inserts and then the spoiler. I might try to slip a tune on it when she isn't looking. She drives mine from time to time and doesn't care for the aggressive tune from DR, so if I get one it might have to be toned down a bit.

Could have been much worse if she had seen some of that S/C jewelry under the hood. ;)

Thank the lord she didn't see a S/C!! I'd be buying two of those. I would love to but my wallet just can't hack it now.

Well she is really smart, I just wish she could have saved me the extra shipping and let me know she wanted all the bells and whistles when I ordered them.

I want to paint the calipers on my car but have been told hers are first. WTF??

My wife is anxiously awaiting funds to become available to mod her MM. She wants it to behcave just like mine. After we get it caught up, then we will be buying two of everything mod-wise.
