Like I said before, I think it's the same color as those Anniversary Cougars they had several years ago. Very close to the Dark Cherry on the Chevy Impala SS's.

Nomad check out Hondas Midnight Black on thier cars.It's got a metalflake with at certain angles, a blue shade.If money was no object,It's the color I would repaint my Marauder.

Now that looks darker. So... maybe if it looks even darker in person, it wouldn't be half bad? Still haven't seen hide nor hair of a silver or red one around here... MO dealers don't want 'em any more!

They are getting in a 2004 black by Sept 16th. I want black.

WOW ! This color is different then the previous one, I like this one better, must be the angle and sun light.

About those valve covers, :confused: what gives ? Is it the new transmission or something, looks more like the Cobra engine bay.

Gotta say I really dig it.....I love my blue....but that deep almost sparkly blood red...is nice.....

I really what to see all 4 colors side by side....if they have all 4 at Ennis can someone please get a good high res picture of these 4 colors together......might be the only time it ever happens!

My likes -

Black & red tie for 1st.

Silver 2nd.

Blue 3rd.

It's a shame they couldn't have made more of a platinum color ... the silver is nice but I think platinum would have been even better.

Guess I better start watering that money tree more often ...

What was already a strong desire for one of these cars has now gone to complete animal LUST.

That is a beautiful color. I have been around a few Impala SS's that had the DCM (Dark Cherry Metalic) paint and I would swear that that is the same or a close one.

It also looks a little lighter than the new color on the Aniv. Vette.

Nomad, Ford had a color for the probe called Mystique. It was a very dark purple but instead of metal flake they used micro etched plastic flakes. The plastic flakes acted like prisms so the color would change according to the angle of the panel.

One other color that would look good is that Titanium from the Mustang.
