Being a new member please excuse my stupidity. Are Marauders supercharged from the factory? There seem to be alot on here that are supercharged. And from my reading the '04 model year is the better year to purchase as they don't have the bugs of the '03's? Sorry for my ignorance. Thanks in advance.:help::stupid:

There not bugs :mad: They are called Gremlins and once you've got you can never ever EVER get rid of them !!!!!!

:welcome:!! There's a wealth of knowledge and experience here! We only wish they were supercharged from the factory....but it probalby worked out better that they weren't, because many options were created out of that need and we do have choices to fit our budget and desire for power. There are many supercharger threads. Spend some time searching, reading and asking questions. We've been at this for 6 years now.....

No S/C from factory.

'04 had more knock sensors and upgrades to transmission.( so to speak)

There are + and - to the '04 model. The '04 has traction control as does the late '03 ('03 300B). The '04 has a 4R75W tranny and revised torque converter, which is stronger than the 4R70W used in the '03. The '04 has dual knock sensors, not really much benefit over the single sensor in the '03. The '04 as well as the '03 300B have optional heated seats available. The late '04 has factory sunroof available. The '03 has a separate clock in the dash rather than the radio-incorporated clock of the '04 and '03 300B. The '04 does not have an underhood light. The '04 has natural aluminum colored cam covers (which corrode) rather than the black ones on the '03. The early '03 (300A) are the only ones with map pockets on the front of the front seats.
