I had my instrument cluster lights go out in my first Marauder, it was an 04. Only half the instrument cluster would light up. Dealer had to take the dash apart to get behind the cluster to replace the bulbs back there. I did it under warranty, I don't mean to be a downer, but if I remember correctly there was a lot of labor hours involved$$$$$.

If you have any mechanical ability it is easy to replace the burned out bulb. Pop off the carbon fiber trim at the bottom of the speedo. Unbolt the trim around the speedo. Unbolt the four screws holding the speedo. Twist the socket that has the bad bulb. Replace the bulb. Put back together in reverse order. Be gentle with the plastic.

Not every one is computer savvy or pays attention to what they actually type. Fat fingers is the number one incorrect spelling problem lol.
My rpm section goes dark at WOT when the alternator shuts down. I just had one bulb burn out around the 20mph area. Took me 15 mins to take out the cluster, 30 secs to replace all the bulbs and a few mins to put everything back together. DO IT YOURSELF! Or have another member help you with it. You'll end up paying 1-2 hrs worth of shop labor of something that should take someone 30-60 mins and that's sandbagging it.

Noticed the same thing between 3k and 4k rpm. If its like my old crn vic gauge cluster, there's clear plexiglas behind the gauge face and pointer that distributes light evenly around the dial. Its quite possible that there is a mounting screw or something blocking the light in this area on our MM tach, and there's nothing you can do to fix.
In any case, it does not bother me since my pointer moves very rapidly thru this rpm zone on its way to the "fun" part :burn::banana2: of the dial (>4500rpm).
