A weird CD problem

I don't know why, but recently my CDs will stop playing/skip when I play along to the beat of the music on my steering wheel, particually while listening to Operation Ivy. Anyone know why? I've hit the wheel a lot harder before and never had this problem. Could the radio be loose or something? :confused:

I worship the movie Christine and Arnie never hits thte wheel. Ken as far as I know the CD is just fine, but I've had it since I was 17...

Is it just this one CD? Try others, may be time to replace it. Try CD in question in a different player.

I was thinking about it and mabey just mabey,
the buttons on the stearing wheel might be,
extra senceitive, and the hitting of the wheel,
isnt going to help much so I would say wast money,
and by a new wheel or stop hitting it and find something,
else to smack on use the shifter or something I dunno,

if you decieded to go with hitting the shifter,
please do not post later on to have slippin
when when the sound of the beat plays.

Dom, it's likely the CD pickup lens needs a cleaning. They have a much harder time tracking when dirty. Pick one up at the shack for 10 bucks - wet version.
