for checking the posi-track rear end? My MM is in the shop, and the dealer claims there isn't anything wrong with it. It is under a maintenance contract, and I think that they don't want to repair it.

Do a burnout in the parking lot, and if you only see one black line, show the service manager.

I tried to they didn't want to hear it. I thought there was a torque spec on the point of break away.

Sounds like you need to go to another Marauder freindly dealership.

I used the same for my Mustang and MM before I bought them.
Empty parking lot away from everyone. Start powerbraking until the tires start to boil. let it roll forward a bit and turn left, let the car spin at least a 360 then turn to the right for another 360. You should have two wonderful tread marks all the way around with no interruptions. Hard on the tires and car but it will ensure that your Posi is working and is a real hoot to boot! After you are done laughing make sure to take photos and post.13515

Well, I went to the dealer this morning, ( Adam, thanks again for the ride), talked to the tech, and he showed me the specs, for breakaway, and such, and all was good. I said if this is true then I should be able to power-brake it, and both tires should break loose. They said yes, go ahead, so I did, WOW, so it works, I think they added some modifier, because the other day it would only spin one tire.

Now mind you, when the rear end geats hot, it may do the one wheel peel again. But that's the nature of the beast.

Left tire stops spinning, right was still slowly moving and when rolling forward you can see more smoke from the right side.
Weird thing is since March I have thought and felt like my posi went up. Yet after changing my front brake rotors the other day I went to try and do a small burnout and smoke the tires pretty good and two nice dark lines were behind me.
