Hello all-

I was just wondering whether there are differences between the '04 Cobra exhaust manifolds, and the '04 Marauder exhaust manifolds. I know the heads are the same but was wondering whether the two are the same. I have some '04 Cobra ones now. Does anyone have a pic they could post of the Marauder exhaust maifolds?

Thanks guys.

They are different.
Cobra units are much larger and flow more.
Mach 1 manifolds and Cobra manifolds are the same.

Save the money for a giant step. Baby steps are expensive and make you feel foolish when you have to do a mod all over again to get it right. Ask me how I know if you don't get it. Dennis

Do not put the Cobra Manifolds on your car. For a NA Car... they are NO benifit.

I ran 14.3 with cobra manifolds, x-pipe ( magnaflow) and 4:10s witha lidio tune.

Now I'm at 12.5 and I can't drive a car at the strip

BUT..... what mods differ between the two times?

trilogy #132.... snow meth injection... drag radials..
Lidio dyno tune...

Why? Do those make a difference?

Because someone w/ NO other mods will wonder WHY he is NOT there.....

PS - How much does the snow kit add? Or can we not talk about that???

I don't tune for meth...

Is that common? Do you JUST use meth for safety? I have considered the same as so...... but am undecided....

Just.
Lidio dyno'd with it for me and without.
The 10 was what showed up.
To me, it's too risky to tune with it for a daily ( or steet car) driver.
To many variables.
We tuned it . Then turned the Snow kit on.

I SWEAR it saved me 2-3 times . I installed it with Trilogy 132.

Thanks guys for your responses.
I was looking for pics, I know that the Mach1 and Cobras have the same exhaust manifolds, just not sure of Marauders.
This is less of a performance issue and more of a fitment issue. I am doing a budget swap and want to be prepared in case the Cobra ones don't fit. I'm just wondering how different they are so I can start looking for a set now if I need to.
I cannot afford headers at this time, nor will Marauder headers fit my car.
Thanks alot guys.

What car do you have? If the Marauder headers will not fit the Cobras will not either. Dennis

One thing the Cobra manifold does allow you to do is use an aftermarket bolt on x-pipe or the like on the Marauder. Huge HP gains are not there, but you get a degree of "flexibility" in your choices.

Wait I'm confused. Zack said you can bolt on a 4v mustang x/h-pipe to the existing Marauder manifolds. Then extend the rest of the exhaust.

I am worried about clearance issues with an earlier Panther frame.
It would be great if there were pics of stock Marauder exhaust manifolds.
Well, I guess I'll find out when I drop it in, I can modify my mid-pipe if necessary, but by comparing the two by sight, it's possible that the amount of bending/cutting/welding that I have to do to the mid-pipe might not be worth it if I can get something that will fit better.
Surely some of you can feel for my situation...
