XCAL2 Question

Back in April I won an XCal-2 in the Louisville raffle. DR kindly put my tunes on the flasher and I filed the unit away.

Now I'm interested in putting the #2 tune into the car's computer but, as I was reading the info sheet, the instructions stated that the fuel pump and cooling fan fuses must be removed.

My old XCal -1 didn't have such a requirement.

Before I jump, is this really necessary?

It is not needed on the Marauder Pat just plug it in.

The type of tuner X1 X2 X3 does not change the tune you just have more user options
