Blame the tires, not the alignment. Unless you are scrubbing toe, an alignment is not going to cause noise. New tires will have more squirm from the taller tread blocks. Are your new tires BFG KDW II's? Those are reputedly unacceptably loud from what I've heard, and hence my staying away from them.

I ran through a set of KDW2s. Did not notice an increase in road noise. Went back to stock tires due to lack of availability of KDW2s at the time I needed them.

ck, do you have an aftermarket exhaust? What some people consider "increased road noise" would not be noticeable if your car is loud. That is important info because I like keeping my MM stock quiet. I'm sure I'm not the only one in that regard, it's not a Camaro (that I have, and is loud).

If the tires a cupped at all, you could rotate and it might take away the noise, otherwise its just the tires more in contact with the road, and your hearing that

no increased noise from my KDW2s.... go back and have them find the problem.
