For sale is my 2003 Cobra convertible 27.5K miles, pristine condition.

Mild mods include:
6 LB Metco lower pulley
Sonic blue BF idlers
Full Bassani catted exhaust
Sonic Blue JLT intake
Ford GT fuel pumps
MGW orange handle shifter
Redline hood struts
MM caster camber plates
MM FLSFC's welded in
Sonic blue BF dif cover brace
465/482 RWHP/RWTQ using SCT Xcal2 tune from HPP
CDC light bar with 3rd brake light and cut-off switch (so when top is up light is off) and a Cervini's 2 piece speedster cover. I've spent hours polishing the exhaust; it's phenomenal (if you can't tell by the pics, this car hasn't seen rain in years). This car has never been raced or been to the track. Custom cut coupe springs 3/4 coil off rear and almost a full coil off the front; rides awesome and feels stock with much better lateral strength. The finish on the car is mirror like, I had a pro spend about 10 hours working on the finish with his multi-stage polish job.

My car is a garage queen, covered all the time in the garage, detailed every time I drive her prior to being re-covered. Interior is flawless too, top is like brand new inside and out. Never been hit or damaged.
Car is currently sitting on 10.5 AFS rears with 315 DSG's, selling with the stock rear wheels wrapped in MT ET streets, all the wheels chrome and are perfect.

Ford rebuilt the entire tranny due to a bent shift-shaft and also replaced the entire clutch about 1000 miles ago, all new and warranted by Ford. I also just replaced the battery. Ford also supported the TSB on the steering rack, throttle pedal/carpet, and re-sealed the diff cover all under warranty.

I have ALL docs in a fat binder from the original order info to delivery, SVT cert, window sticker, every receipt ever as well as dyno charts from HPP Racing. Also have every single stock part except the exhaust. Everything goes with the car.

Aksing $27K OBO, all reasonable offers considered. Located in Frisco, TX. PM, reply or call me to discuss anytime.

Regards,

David Potter

1. I will be kicking myself for selling her, I love her...

2. Camera is a Nikon D50 with the kit 18-55mm lens in the hands of someone who knows how to shoot, not me...

3. I absolutely am keeping my DBP MM, need to move the Cobra to relieve some note pressure...just bought my wife a ride...come spring I will be ready to blow the MM :)

4. Here's a pic with the top up in direct sunlight, stock rear wheels with MT ET's, (All wheels/tires go with the car, stockers and AFS 10.5's):

The pics weren't edited, we shot it at almost pitch dark with the ap set at about 10 seconds, that's why the color is so rich. He always shoots, as most pros do, at dusk. The last few shots were literally after dark and he used his flash while walking around with the camera on the tripod. It's a trip how he does it and the results are amazing.

Check this out, this IS edited:

That is beautiful. Makes me feel guilty. I need to go polish my (bone stock) 03 Cobra Sonic Blue vert (with less than 5k miles)...

Wow...wow...wow!!

My wife is not interested in cars really, but she was salivating over that thing when she saw me looking at it.

With the noises I was making she wust have thought I was looking at porn and came in to bust me!

Wow!

You guys kill me, thanks, I needed a laugh.

Windsor58, you need to drive that thing! I only put 4k miles on mine in 2 years so I know what it's like. I will say, as beautiful as mine is, she's as much beast when asked to be :)

Car prices are way off lately, which just sucks.

You may have a hard time selling at that price, but good luck!!

I have a black '03 but love the blue 'Vert and would love to have it my shop.

I am NOT trying to cut your head off here, but with prices being what they are, I would offer $20K and a split on the delivery charges to Atlanta.

Thanks, but I would never sell for $20K although I have seen some coupes in that range with similar miles and condition. It's been a fun ride and I will likely be looking for something again before my wife thinks I should :) But, I want to get the MM where she should be before I even look for another Stang, I'm thinking about a super clean 90-93 notch-back as a base to build from.

Understood!

I love my fox bodies and I am sure that their popularity will continue to rise over the coming years as clean models continue to grow more scarce.

Good luck with the sale!
