Okay, I am a little confused, what exactly are deleted tips and what are their functions? I thought taking out the tips would make the car louder; I know, I am a knucklehead!

The Meg's 4" delete tip will solve the energy crisis, bring our troops home all while at the same time cause others who have spent large $$ on the same product to feel better that they also bought them.

The "delete" is the lack of a resonator pack in the tips...
The 4" units are 1/2 bigger than stock.
You can make the stockers "delete" by having the tips removed, cutting the back ends off, removing the baffling resonator stuff and rewelding it all together again.

Hope I have help confuse you more.....

NO!
(in my best patient Fatherly voice)
The "Delete Tips" are NEW tips with no resonator baffles in them, like the stock units have. The 4" ones described and sold above would be NEW with NO baffles and 1/2 larger than stock units.
But, If you do not want the resonators in your STOCK tips, you can remove them as I described above.

Ahhhhh, now I get it!!! Thank you for the fatherly voice. So, my next question, what is the stock dimension for stock pipes?

Tips or pipes?
For the tips, do the math and subtract 1/2 inch from the 4" tips.... as stated above.

For the pipes it's a real mess.... 2 1/4 squashed in spots to 2 and 1 3/4 or less in the bends....... yucky.... needs mandrel bent tailpipes... They are, or were, Grand at one time....

Okay, here's the deal. I am getting the rear cats removed (Check), installing Flowmaster Super 44s, but I was wondering what exactly happened in the deleted tip portion and I just got confused when someone said they were ordering deleted tips (The tips are the resonators). I am good now, thanks Rich!:D I am just goint to removed what's inside the pipes and call it a day!
