I was looking around the inside of my Marauder for my glass case
and I found that the right rear floor well was saturated with water.

I haven't been driving for a while and the Marauder has been parked in my back yard.

I took it through a car wash two days ago with my son in the back seat
and he didn't see anything while going through the wash.

Has anyone had this happen to them ??

AC drain is clogged!

Can ya'll give some more details? How can the use of the A/C cause water to accumulate behind the passenger seat?

Does the water not just drip down?

Have you used your AC? He's in New York, I doubt its hot enough for the AC

If the a/c drain is clogged water can drip underneath the carpet along the firewall, and gravity takes over from there. The rear floor pans are a little lower.

Do a hose test. See if any water comes in on that side. You might need another person in the car and wacthing to see if any comes in.

I never knew that there was such a thing as an a/c drain. I thought that the condenser and hoses just got wet and water would drip from the said items.

Can anyone point out where the a/c drain is? Next time I run the a/c long enough I will take a look.

It's at the lowest point of the evaporator case, right side on the firewall. You'll see it dripping when the A/C is on. If it's not dripping then it's clogged and the condensation will drip inside the car.

By "right side" I am assuming that you mean driver's side.

You learn something new EVERY day.

I have no water in the car and I "know" that I see water drips under the car, but I will check on it the next time I change the oil (if not sooner).

Thank you.

Hey right rear,,unless you have a hydrogen generator somewhere..there's instant a evaporator coil "that is AC" that shouldn't flood the rear pas floor carpet or panel. Are you sure that car wash you might have overlooked something ???? I personally hate those weird things.

"right side" = passenger side not the drivers side

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. Right/ left or left/ right, it all depends on the point of view. I didn't know if he meant right side (from when one is in the driver's seat) or right side (from when one looks into the engine bay from out side the vehicle).

Thanks again.

I think that is the answer as well. My little guy loves to play with the windows.

The floor is wet in the passenger rear section
as well as under the passenger front seat.
The passenger front floor is dry as a bone.

I am going to try the hose on my sunroof.
I hope it isn't leaking because a new glass with gasket
is going to run about $600+.

Oh... I keep the window controls locked all the time.
No one opens windows in my car except for me...

Check the drains in the sunroof - they run tubes above the headliner to the side pillars and down to drain. One may be plugged/broken or fallen off.
