I headed to the track this evening along w/ the following folks:
Zack
Earin (Knine)
Ken
Dominick (Motorhead350)
Mark (UAF588)
Brad (1 Bad Merc)
Bob (justbob)
It took a total of 5* being added, 26x11.5x16 MT ET Streets, the Drivers Side Headlight being removed and the Cut Outs being opened.
I ended up running the following:
11.7930 @ 115.93 MPH w/ a 60' of 1.6768

I now have the fastest STOCK BLOCK (according to the CURRENT Timeslips Page ;) ) and #10 on the list.
Thank you Dyno Brian and Zack for the Tuning and Derek at NTB for the tire hookup!

(Mostly Stock) BLUES are no longer SLOW. 14.33 :rolleyes: Zack tune, 4:10's, K&N....that's all folks.

It was a great night indeed! I brought her down to 12.92 at 106 with a 1.8 60'. This is with stock pulley on the trilogy, flowmaster delta 40's, mickey thompson drag radials 245/40/18, and headlight out (2 tenths gained) and thats it.
Congats steve on breaking into the 11's! Now that should help sell the car. If anyone has any thoughts of buying killjoys car quit thinking about it and buy it, this car is absolutely beautifull, well built and fast! You will not regret it.

Hay don't forget Dom's dad's m6 that i creamed! Just kidding he was learning the car that first run with a 14.0 but ended up putting down a 12.7 on the second. Great run Dom for not driving that car much. You have a very understanding dad! Its just too bad he wouldn't run you heads up.

Just a correction on that M6. It ran a 13.0 the first time because it wouldn't hook, second time it did a 12.7 (everything went perfect) third it went 14.6 because I forgot to put the "power" button, :rolleyes:, final time it did a 12.9.
My Marauder was pretty much stuck in the 12.8 times. I was expecting a 12.5 since I had the headers put on, but Zack is telling me that rear end is holding me back and lack of a good tune... next year I'll have mid 12s.

Then you probably don't want to hear about the new guy from WI., Whos first time out, ran 14.7 yesterday with a Lidio tune and Custom CAI only into a 20+ mph headwind!:eek:

PS - We ran in PERFECT weather ( mid/low 50's, low humidity, no wind nice clear starlit night), with a VERY well prep'd track.

Yeah, I am too much of a Marauder guy to leave here for a long time. Roll bar is in the car, looks awesome (will make a thread on it with pics). And my recent Scott Beer tune with some super secret ninja mods are going to surprise a lot of Marauder people at SSHS8:cool:. Lets not forget my motor is a 4.6 Marauder motor. Not a stroked, bored, super blower and whatever killer motor. I just hope that I can have the opportunity for one in particular mouthy person (can you guess who that may be, not on this website????) to line up with me:D. It is going to be ON:banana:. A great de-stressor with tremendous self-satisfaction if you know what I mean:beer:. I CANNOT WAIT it is going to be a great day, Nov 8th.......I am bringing a real good video camera, just need a guy to operate it for the runs so there is not question on the Marauder that rules the street and strip. To quote, "Yeah I am cocky, but I have spent the time and money to be so." enough said.

No, I dont want to hear that since the last two times out my best was a 14.68 with most in the 14.7s and 14.8s.
Yes, the car has a tune. It came from Lidio and was retuned by DR.
And Knine, everyone knows the only Marauder is a black Marauder!

I didnt think he was talking about just a tune. I respect Zack for being able to tune our cars, but I already have a mail order tune and I remember reading a post that showed there is not much of a difference between Zacks and some of the vendors tunes.

Its what the transmission does (or doesnt do) that equates to a good or bad timeslip.
