It's actually the grill that I love on these 49/50 Mercs.

I love the Moon website.
I also found a web site that sells the repro Chevy grill cross bars and teeth that are used to make the custom grills used in the Mercs.
I have been wondering how one would look in a Marauder - in black!
Anybody that good w/photoshop?

Guys, I did seriously try to make it work in the actual grill area. I wasn't trying to make fun of the original request, because it did make me curious as to how it would look as well, but it really looks awkward due to the narrow width of our grills. Those older cars had grill spaces that were about a block long.

Since I couldn't make it look right, I moved it lower and just gave it some "bling". :D

Maybe someone else can give it a try.

You did better than yiu may think.
If the scale is close, it answers my duestion about how many teeth I would need to fill the grill!
Looks like between 5 $ 7.

Looks like between 5 $ 7.Just be careful making that decision based on my photoshop version. I had several Marauder pics to choose from, but only one good shot of an old Merc with that type grill. The pics of each car weren't both taken at the exact same angle, and I had to do lots of stretching, distorting and stuff to make it look correct in the final version. I guess what I'm saying is, that the grill from the old Merc may not be truely proportional to the front of the new Merc.

Fair enough John - I'll have to work off of the sizes given for the parts themselves. Now if someone would just donate an empty black grill shell to get me started....
