Hey just joined yesterday, and have always been a big fan of the marauder. My toy is a 00 SVT Contour with 4k miles. Was looking for a marauder before I stumbled on the contour but the prices were still high at the time. Anyways at a local car show I met Jim "fastblackmerc" and decided to register my car because I knew they would look good together. Heres a few pics.

Welcome to the site! 4k miles? That is pretty darn good, just hope you didn't have to deal with the dash recall. I've got several friends with SVT-C ranging from all bolt-ons, stroker motors and stroked & turbo.

I had really thought about getting one cause 200hp V6 6spd with an LSD is not to shabby.

What Stu didn't say was we both won plaques for Top 3 Stock Cars 1983 - Present (Domestic).

Stu also won a plaque for best sound system.

Here it is

Simple and clean! JL Audio, Alpine, Orion, Memphis and Boston, all good choices.

Yea it's my garage queen, but I did however have to deal with the dash recall. I ended up buy (the last to my knowledge) dash recall kit. Took it to Ford and had them install it. I'm hoping that I dont regret taking it to those bo-zo's that later. Some on my forums really hate the way the kit looks but I bet if you had never heard of the recall it wouldent stand out at all.

The stereo install is very nice and have to give my friend full credit (thanks Brian M), he's the stereo guru. I would have turned it on for them but I didnt want to shatter the windows out of your merc Jim. ;)

Highlight of the day was the award ceremonies when Jim's "Marainer" was called. I think me an Jim both cracked a smile when she announced it.:D

The old amp set up looked a lot better. Below the orion 2150 use to sit a orion 2250 which is twice as long and looked just bad ass. Had to upgrade as the 2250 just couldent keep up. Thats what happens when you use 10-15 yr old electronics though. Thanks again guys!

Welcome and nice car, now go out and trade it on a a Marauder :) <JK> But thats is what I just did last week, I traded my 04 Mustang GT in on my 04 Marauder. I love the Marauder needs some mods but over all I couldn't be happier!

I'll be buried in that contour when I die hahah! A MM would make a great DD if the right one came along though!
