The Celery City Cruisers will be having their last meet of the year at the Sanford River Walk/Marina on Saturday October 25th.
Since our local Orlando area members haven't been very active lately due to hot weather and the flooding in Sanford, Denise and I thought this would be a great time to start planning for a Marauder gathering.
This event is their Halloween meet, and should be lots of fun. The weather is starting to cool off and it should be nice. I have confirmed with Joyce of the Celery City Cruisers (Secretary/treasurer), that the marina area is now usable, and she would like to see lots of Marauders there.
Hope to see you guys there.

That is such a nice area to visit....wish I could be there.
Is the "Blue Dahlia" restaurant still there?

Is the "Blue Dahlia" restaurant still there?I'm not sure. I know some business's and restaurants in Sanford were hit pretty hard by the flooding of Lake Monroe.
I called their number and after about 6 rings, got a recording stating their hours, but it didn't sound like they said "Blue Dahlia" on it.
I guess we can tell you for sure after we meet there on the 25th.

Remind me...what time do they start?Pete, it's probably a good idea this time to be there between 5:30 and 6:00. They usually have a pretty big turnout for the last meet of the year.

I think I can make it, I am off that weekend. It might require taking the cover off and actually removing the car from the garage for the first time in months. If it isn't raining that is, my car is alergic to the rain :)

Just to let all of you know, I checked the Celery City Cruisers website, and this thing actually starts at 5:00 PM. So, Denise and I will probably be there a little early to reserve a few parking spots.
Glad to see some interest in this. It will be great to get together with folks that we haven't seen in a while.
