Gentlemen, I am considering a Lidio supercharger mod and wonder who may have some advice. I think the additional power will be fun, but do not want to destroy my 04 SB 26K mile summer car. What sort of drive train life will this sacrifice in daily driving? Steve

I could not recommend ANY other Blower than a Trilogy.

I'd say it's okay for driving for daily drivinig as the EATON M112 supercharger is used by Ford in some of there other vehicles (Ford Lightning as an Example)
You can find out more of the Trilogy S/C at www.MotorCityMarauders.Com (http://www.MotorCityMarauders.Com)

I have a Lidio supercharger on my Marauder, I drive it daily all year round in Chicago.
I have almost 70K on my Marauder, 40K of those with the Lidiocharger on it.:D

I put an Eaton Trilogy kit on my 04 SB at around 16k. I have never looked back since! You might notice more underhood noise. I did, but the belt I have seems noisier than it should be, been like that since Day One.
Rear tire wear will be an issue, and trans cooling mods are highly advisable. I just got a new trans pan (+3 quarts, finned aluminum + drain plug) and am looking into a small trans cooler. It's almost overkill for my area (Vancouver).

You can not tell a trilogy car from any other n/a car, seeing/hearing, driving, nothing. Unless you want to use it.:D

Trilogy makes a first class product and has first class service.
The Trilogy product is very good and the service is outstanding (I don't even own a kit, but Jerry has graciously answered many questions for me).

Yes, the additional power will be fun!
In daily driving I don't think the supercharger will have a negative effect on drive train life.
But some cheap upgrades to consider may be to do the J-mod for firmer shifts and carbon fiber clutches + F-150 s-spring for the rear diff.
In this tread Jerry B. says that the transmission should last 70-80 thousand miles, minimum, with a supercharged engine at stock trilogy boost level.
