yeah my mm had some front damage and the body shop forgot to put the little hood clips on my car....well i think thats whats they are called....but its the pieces that when you pop ur hood it catches....its one on each side but i cant find out the name of these things....if anyone does can someone help me out because im lost and does anyone know how much do they run....thanx

are you talking about bump stops, the little circle rubber things that the hood rests against when its closed

Gentlemen, The Ford part number for the rubber hood bumper that fits perfectly on the MM and CV of similar vintage is N807055S. It was found under the 96 Ranger parts listing. They are exactly what the hood needs. They fit into the slots on the fender and mate to the angled face of the inner hood panel positioned exactly on top of the slot. Steve

Sounds like the body shop screwed up. Go back and tell them that the hood bumper stops are missing. They should make it right. You paid for a complete job .... sounds like it isn't complete.

As a last resort ... the Parts department at any Ford or Mercury dealer can fix you up for less than $10.
