I might be able to make it if I'm not working. I might get a job a Woodfield Chevy and Hummer and I won't know what my schedule will be. When I know, I'll e-mail you.

Hey MadMan!!

Glad to see you are still hangin' on to that MM! I'll at Byron on the 11th. Any chance you guys can arrange a chicken feast on the northside of Chicago?

TTYL!

I think it's a great idea to consider a northside chicken run, let's give the WI owners a chance?

How about something in either the Woodfield or Gurnee Mills area? They're both close to major expressways, have big parking lots & plenty of nearby restaurants. I'll be out of town first weekend of October but if it's any other weekend I'm interested.

Well, I think it's a possibility for the first weekend of October for Bill and I to attend the run. The 11th is our anniversary though, and we have other plans.

I like the woodfield idea more than the Gurnee Mills idea. But I can do either one, so I MIGHT be game :P

I could set something up for a meet in two weeks if you guys want. I live roughly 4-5 miles for Woodfield mall. We just need to get a permit to have the show.

I'm confused. Why do we need a permit to meet for lunch or is this going to be a show? I'm game to meet anywhere in the area. Let's do the 5th, someone figure out where???

You need a permit for Woodfield Mall, not for the chicken run!

mad man

Around this house, it's a bottle of booze, and it's name varies, as long as its a single malt.

However, what this thread is about, is a reoccuring meet of MM owners in the Chicagoland area calling ourselves the Windy City Marauders. The meet location is a popular restaurant on old Rt 66 that's known for it's fried chicken, which I never seem to want when I'm there. The location, day of week and time agreed upon a long time ago, today anyone can call up a meet, all we need is a date. This date is Sunday, October 5th, and you're welcome to join us. Everyone on this board is welcome to join us.

Sorry guys. I can't make it. My dad says that it's too far for me to drive. I'm thinking that the only way for me to get there is if one of you guys picks me up at my house and drive me to the chicken run. But I know that none of you would do it.

Smaller than usual turnout for the chicken run today in terms of cars but we had a nice big group of people!

Jrzygrl with her husband and two kids; Mac and date, Me, Wife, Jett, Madman+wife, Tim, and Mark.

Jett had so much fun he slept most of the way home. I can hardly wait until his feet can touch the pedals. Then I can sit in the back and take a nap while he drives me down there.

At 1:30 pm, I was sitting in the driveway at home waiting for the family to come down [we were supposed to leave at 1:15 promptly] when Mac pulls into the driveway to meet me! It wasn't the sight of another marauder in my driveway that surprised me as much as the whirling of the supercharger and that new Reinhart Exhaust. The sweetest sound a grown man can hear, second only the the crying just after my son was born.

Too bad there was heavy traffic on the expressway out to the chicken ranch.... I would like to have seen him blow away some the the chicago area ricers.
