Now I hear what sounds like water dripping on something hot.
Is there a weep hole in the bottom of the wiper cowl area clogged?, or something anyone has experienced regarding my symptom?
The other issue I still have, maybe related to this
The insulation blanket above the trans has been swollen and drooping on the cats for way too long.
I tried on the driveway last week with my little humbe stands, but I couldn't find enough working room to get very much of the old blanket out.
The pieces I did manage to remove were water logged. The biggest piece I was able to remove, being on the passenger side.
This appears to be enough material removed, to install the kit I got from Ford with the stickey cat insulators at least on that side.
I think the PIs' get a recall for these, for starting on fire from excessive idleing.
If you notice the new insulation material on vehicles, is not a sponge for moisture to let them swell up and sag.
I guess my fire risk is less if I leave the leak alone.
I'll try and get some help at work to get lift acess.
I did try to take some pics but the camera was dead and my chargers is at work.:stupid:

Didnt someone just start a similar thread and it was the AC drain that caused this?

I know the driver's side of mine was hanging down on the cat and I tied it up and then it become loose again so I just cut that the section out and went on my merry way.

Save your money if you haven't bought it yet. I bought the 2 piece kit for my drivers side from Ford for 20 bucks. Once I got it (had to prepay) I realized I could have bought this for the same price and done both sides at once. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=THE%2D13575&N=700+4294845359+215+400356+11 5&autoview=sku
I plan on replacing all of the insulation with this stuff first time I pull the tranny for upgrades.
