It was a good nite, The weather was good , a small breeze, and some very quick cars. People were impressed how well the Marauders their ran. I took my Daughter with me and we both had a good time.

I had a great time and a well informative lesson. I had the pleasure of taking out a Vette with some instruction from Z, but all my other launches had WAY too much wheel spin. The water box was not my friend, with street radials. My 60' times ranged from 1.8 to 2.4, but when it did hook up, Boy what a ride. We did see a Grand National loose an axle, literally came out of the axle housing. They had to lift the car by hand and slide to axle back under the car, just so they could roll the car off the track.
I see a 1/8 mile track is good to practice on, but my hearts in the 1/4 mile. But I see a I have some practicing to do before I hit the 1320'.
Side note: The new engine took everything I could throw at it (Kitchen sink included) with no problems what so ever. Way to go Al Papitto. :bows:

I learned my lesson with the KDW2's in the past to I was more than happy to pass on the info to Ed, after all what friends for. After going to County Line Race Way for the first time and seeing first hand what the track was like , next time I'll bring my car. But like Ed said the 1/4 mile is better. John gave me his camera to take Vidio's but I must of screwed up and the Vidios didn't take. Vito did take some vidios so hopefully his came out. Everyone did good and we all had a nice time. ( As Always) !
