Can someone tell me where I can get police interceptor center caps? If I don't sell it by the first snow fall I MIGHT have to drive it this winter. All the local hubcap/wheel stores I called can't get there hands on them. I have the 225/60/16 wheels, Im going next week for the winter tires, but need the caps to cover the lugs. Thanks.

I have an extra set of the pre 2000 center caps if you are interested. I am selling the car shortly so I won't need the extra set. Let me know...I've attached a photo so you know what they look like...
Don't forget, you need the lug nuts with the shoulder to keep these on the wheels.

n3fvg,
Those are the same wheels I have. The wheels Im using are off my 2007 Grand Marquis. I believe the lugs that came with it are the ones you speak of with the thread like area of the lug which the center cap "grabs" onto. Please correct me if Im wrong. Is there any chance you or anyone else would have a pic of these lugs?

Here is a pic of the lugs, but make sure you have ones for the right year.

My 2002 CVPI had Ford Fusion 16" full wheel covers on it when I got it and it doesn't look too bad. They've even been mistaken for aluminum wheels a couple of times. They go for around $45-$50 for a set of 4 on eBay.
If you're interested pm me your email address and I'll send you a couple of pics as I can't post them here.

I don't have a pic of the lugs, someone else I believe posted below and if necessary I can take one off and take a pic. The lugs have a "shoulder" which grabs and holds the center caps when you push the caps on. I did not have them originally on my CVPI and had to buy them from my local NAPA. Told them I needed lugnuts for an older Explorer. My CVPI originally came with full hubcaps so no "shoulder" lug nuts. I have never sen these lug nuts on anything other than Explorers and CVPI's with factory small center caps.

They are all over ebay. Here is a set WITH collared lugs for $11.oo
These are the PANCAKE style, you need this style with the 2003-2008
steel Ford Police Interceptor wheels.

Thanks guys,
I just went to take a picture of the lugs I have to show you guys and there missing:mad2:. Unbelievable. I looked everywhere. So now it looks like I need lugs and center caps. I definitely don't want to use the Marauder lugs. Im so aggravated.

IIRC the lugs and acorn caps cost me about $125 new four years ago.
