According to my research there one of the better ones you can get. Times are what they are so I really couldn't go crazy with the spending.

Now that I think about it I should have also asked you guys if there was a better size to buy for these Grand Marquis wheels I have instead of the factory size. Something better for the Marauder. Oh well.

Now to find those centercaps and lugs............ A lot of good leads from my other thread but tryin to find a used set for cheaper.

That price seems right on par. I have used the Winterforce snows for two seasons so far, and it makes my GM unstoppable in the snow. (225/60R16) I bought a complete wheel + tire package (tires mounted and balanced) from Tirerack.com for $520 including shipping, but that was two years ago.

If it's a snow only tire it is going to be night and day compared to all season regardless of manufacturer. Everyone has a liking, and it's not always about price. I prefer Bridgestone Blizzack. Nearly the same price as what you paid. Others prefer Scorpion by Pirelli. Whatever...

I actually used Grand Marquis steelies as it was something I had on hand from a prior ownership. They looked ok I guess. And I like the lip better than the Crown Vic steelie that has a closer offset.

The worst part of the story is you having to even drive it in the winter.:o

These were mine. Shown on someone elses car.

Believe me CRUZTAKER I don't want to drive it this winter. The worst part is its going to be its first winter. Thats what hurts the most. Good thing is I only work 3 miles away from home and if its snowing Im at work until it stops anyways, so she should see a very minimal amount of salt.

The work car gave out on me at the wrong time. No money for a new one right now.

most accidents happen within 5 miles of your home.
