Just as a thought..... I own a 95 sable wagon, not a shabby car it gets me to where I want to go which is good enough. My father owns the Marauder. Well, I wish I had a SHO but insurance and my funds would not allow one. Yet as a dream if I had an extended amount of funds I would find it really great to go above the SHO-Wagon and strap the whole Marauder - S power-train to the sable to make the first... Sable Eliminator. Dreams of pulling up to a ricer and letting him win the first few yards then blowing by him only to watch the jaw drop expression. I wont let this dream die and hopefully it may exist sometime down the road.
What do you guys think, good idea... bad idea?

Well, the engienering nigtmare you came upwith of converting a front wheel drive car to a rear wheel drive would be one of the biggest issues.

And keeping it FWD would not be a good idea. All that torque from the V* would twist the front suspention into so much metal pretzels.

I think it would be a cool idea otherwise.

Great idea.Except for the amount of work.

How about a wrecked SHO drivetrain in the wagon?

Bask in the early 70's Motion Performance sold a Vega wagon with a 454 V8. I heard that they didn't make many other changes though and the poor little thing quickly fell apart from all the torque. It ran like a rocket for a little while though.

When the SHO first came out... I saw an article where some tuner installed the SHO engine into the wagon... The title of the article referenced

"SHO-GON" (think Japenese)

I think the SHO-GUN was a Festiva powered by a SHO drivetrain.

It would be like puttin'........

Perfume on a goat.:D

The Sho Gun was the Festiva. I believe the engine was behind the driver. Jay Leno bought one.
