I am 1 of 147 light flint interiors in a 2003 MM. Not to hi-jack your thread, but I have a complete charcoal interior including the front and rear seats, head liner, all plastic panels, rear package shelf, all seat belts, etc. I will sell complete for $800.
Thanks,
Glenn :burnout:

The light flint interior was available first with the 2003 300B Marauder.

Wow, more than 40% of the DTRs were light flint? I've never seen one, nor would I want one.

According the father of the MM, Steve Babcock, the light flint interior was born late in the 2003 model year when the southern dealers complained to L-M that the temperatures down south were too high for a black car and a black interior. So L-M began the LFI. The temperature difference between the two interiors on a hot day is significant. Some one several years ago did a post on it - try search.

My DTR was light flint with a moonroof; was told after it was wrecked that that combo was VERY rare.:bigcry:
FWIW and IMHO, the LFI coordinates better with DTR than it does with DBP, but looks the best in a SB car. (My:twocents:)
