My buddy is a painter at Collision Revision in Fort Myers and tints tails by adding black base coat into laquer clearcoat. The finish is flawless and he can go as dark as you wish. I went slightly black and they look red in the direct sun. Admit it - this looks good

Very sharp. Can you take a picture with the brake lights on? Maybe in the shade or at dusk?

I've never really been a fan of tainted tails, I rather like the S-55 taillight treatment better. To each their own but it looks good, should of done the reverse lights also.

Very nice looking. I was thinking about having that done but ended up doing the S55 treatment instead. Very nice. Any pics at night though?

Looks good to me! Not too dark like the others posted in the past. How bout a pic with the brake lights on!

Badmerc that's awesome, I'm hoping to have mine done by Nov-Dec, the first inspiration came from Embassy, and your picture makes me want to haul ass and get her done NOW! Gotta wait for the $$$.

Congrats. They look to be about the same tint level of mine and look sharp against that Silver Birch exterior.

In my thread, I posted a pic of the lamps when illuminated.

These are only a laquer clearcoat tinted black. They are pitch black but are bright when illuminated. Make friends with a painter and have him do it. These took 1 day and cost $50.00 ($35.00 with tip). Times are tough so painters can do this in their garage. I could not be more happy.
