I'm gonna be looking to upgrade my stereo system in the near future, I already have the Avic F-90, so what's the best wat to go as far as speaker's and a sub? I would like to get something mounted in the same place as the stock sub, how is the infinity basslink? Is it a BIG upgrade over the factory sub? Would you guy's suggest an upgraded amp to power it? What about speaker's, is it reccomended to use the same size (6x8?) in the door's and the rear deck lid? I see a lot of people seem to be using either pioneer's or infinity's, is it wise to use the same brand?

I know it's a lot of question's but any suggestion's would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the sub box magindat built for me:

The sub in it is from John (MTX T5510-44). It fits on the shelf next to the spare tire. I am going to set it up so if I need the space I will be able to remove the box (although, I doubt I'll need the space). It might be a little overkill for my music listening style but I'll never have to upgrade that monster.
I just bought an AVIC F90BT and 4 speakers (stock size - Pioneer TS D802P) from John. Don't have it installed, yet, but John hooked me up with all I need - wiring kit, steering wheel interface, dash kit and wires, HD tuner, XM tuner, rear camera, the sub and an amp (MTX TA5601) for the sub. John knows his stuff (and our cars) and I am looking forward to getting it all put in. He also gave me a great price. I live in Denver and wouldn't go anywhere else for car stereo equipment, even though I have to put it in myself. I just have to find a long weekend to do the install.

I installed a Basslink in place of the factory sub. Easy install, much better than the factory sub, works great if you don't required skull splitting bass....

I have the Infinity Reference 6x8 speakers in OEM locations and love them. Once broken in they sound fantastic with the OEM radio, it can only be better with more power and control.

X2...

I have the reference components in the front and the 2-ways in the rear deck. I've played with alot of different speakers and these just work SO well for the money. The clarity is so crisp. Its not ear shattering highs, just smooth sound.

If it were my car and I was gonna run just head-unit power I would buy jl audio 5x7's there are many price ranges to choose from and they sound great! My personal pick would be a set of TR's or some C5's with an external amplifier. Good prices and great performance! Kenny's Marauder has the JL Audio compenents and it sounds incredible!
