My car is taking 20-30 minutes before the heat comes out cold. When the temp outside is cold, it's taking 5-7 minutes for the car to reach normal water temp, but the heat is still coming out ice cold. Anything I can check for? Thanks.
You have air in the system, burp it.

^^^what Zack said^^^ is the most common cause.
It could also be that your blend door is stuck in the A/C position.

If I go to a Jiffy Lube or some thing and have them flush the radiator would that solve the problem? Apparently, I cant do it as I probably caused the problem when I changed water pumps.
Anyone know if this would cause the car to run slower at the track?

You can do it, Brutha...
Save your money...It really is not hard + you'll gain personal satisfaction when you fix it yourself...
There are many posts on how to burb it...
Good luck...

BTW: The only way your car will run slower, is if it is over heating (read: air pockets in the block)...

Unless you're VERY sure that a specific Jiffy Lube is competent, DO NOT go there. Plus, it's very easy and simple to do yourself; if you can change the water pump I don't know why you think you can't burp the system.
