Over the next week, the final weak link will be replaced and the Gear Vendors Overdrive will be ready. Actually, the GV is already installed, as seen in the following pictures. I spoke with my installer today and asked how much had to be modified to get it to fit, and Brian said that if anything, he raised the mount point to make the drive train angle optimum. Sweet!

No big hammers, no cut tunnels. I am really getting excited, but won't be making any runs in the car till next year. The local track closed last Saturday and there is no roll-bar yet.

One thing to mention, the Metco hoop was easily modified and fit right into the new position. Looks almost factory.

Enjoy!

Is that hooked to the TH400? It looks like it is a bit more forward than the one I saw at Dennis'. Good job on the crossmember and driveshaft loop mods. I'll be having to do something similar with the 4R100. I've been studying the PCS controller, it can be configured to operate the GV unit automatically.

Yes, the TH400 is in front of it. I have mine programmed to make the switch into OD when enabled at 6000 RPM. This way I'll still only have to pull the stick twice during a run and get good consistent short times because I'm having 4.88 gears put in. Now I just have to wait 5 more months to play with it! LOL

Fantastic work, it's really coming together. I need to upgrade my fuel system. Do you still have the rails and lines? This could be a good winter project.

Yes, I have those rails still. The lines you need to have made.

Please take this to the For Sale thread I have started.

Thanks!!
