Help -- I have a Ford accessory alarm (not remote start) with movement sensitivity feature that by some combination of pushing the standard MM key fob buttons, I have placed the alarm in the Valet/Service mode. I cannot find my manual to know what the right combination of buttons are to return it to standard alarm mode. HELP!!!! Does anyone have a manual that can tell me how to switch the alarm back to operating mode.
Thanks,
Glenn :burnout:

Is there an L.E.D. on the dash for the alarm, and a switch under the dash ?

The switch under the dash does not switch it to standard alarm mode. It doesn't seem to do anything. Yes, there is a LED on the dash that flashes twice for the Valet mode. This was a Ford sensitivity alarm installed about 2 years ago and has worked great until now. It is not the same as the stock Ford alarm.

So the L.E.D. itself is not a switch also? like the Ford dealer installed alarms. I might have that info at home, but I won't be home till tomorrow night. I'll check and let you know.

OK, I finally got it. After using 6 different code sequences to turn off Valet mode I finally found the correct one. Turn on and off the ignition 3 times within 10 seconds - bingo - back to alarm mode. WOW - what a chore to find the correct procedure and I now have a new print-out of the manual from Code Systems.

Hey Glenn,
I just got home and see that you have it figured out. It's just as well as mine is a "Ford" dealer installed system, and my owners guide for it tells you to put it into valet mode you turn the ignition on (run position) press both the lock and unlock buttons (on the remote) at the same time, and the L.E.D. should double flash to show it's in valet mode. To get it out of valet mode you repeat the process and the L.E.D. will shut off.

That depends on which system you have.
