Smoked a new Maxima Friday. It was from a stop light on a three lane that went down to two lanes after the light. The Maxima is rated at 255 hp, however they only weigh 3400 lbs compared to our 4100 lbs. It was sweet... the guy thought he had something against a 4 door "grandpa car"... Well fell'a you learned this is not your "grandpa's car" :D
I let the car do the shifting, I happen to be on my cell (hands free) and the air was on. I just got a good jump at the light. He did have a slight nose ahead from the light, however as soon as I hit 3000 rpm it was over....

p.s. I am sure sitting behind me in traffice after that did not make him happy.....

My girlfriend drives a 2003 Infiniti I35 (same engine as the Maxima). It is not even close to being a match with the Marauder. The Marauder is much much faster.

I'll start mssing with every new Maxima in Kokomo just in case the same individual is passing through. Make him wonder where all of the fast grandpa cars are coming from.

Maxima's are front wheel drive and torque steer out the ass with that kind of power. The 04's have 265 horses.
