I always thought this was a Marauder photo forum, but looks like it's open to more. I just picked up a toy to hold me over for the winter and managed to snap some stylish pics when getting some for my insurance agent. The 4th one immediately became a wallpaper. Might post more pics as soon as I can shop out the serial number on the right side. Took me a long to to get decent pics without glare. I know they're huge, but I didn't want to trim them any more. (Is there any image code to thumbnail?) Anyone else got graceful shots of this other expensive habit?

A firearm is not a toy.

Agreed. Like Marauders, they are expensive and dangerous pieces of metal (and other things) to be handled with care and not pointed at a person when in operation.

I've got a Springfield Armory XD45. We'll have to go to the range sometime:uzi:

My favorite carry weapon is a Colt Officer's Model. Love that thing. Even with the short barrel and grip, I can still make nice groups at 25 feet. I have a full size 1911, but it is just too big to conceal easily.
Enjoy. Hope you never have to use it.

Indeed. Fletcher Arms on Main St is close and lets you rent if you want to change it up. McMiller out in Eagle might still have a $15 for all day deal, but it's all outdoor. :/ But we can buy ammo together in bulk!! :D

I narrowed it down to this and a nickel Colt Commander, but I liked the classic look of the Series 70 with the wood grips too much to turn down.
No CCW here in Wisconsin (although technically we can still open-carry by law outside of bars, cars, and schools) so she'll spend alot of time in closets and trunks, which is fine by me for now.

She's looks so sexy, but I know she's dangerous!
