But he's weighs as much as a rock star. 100#'s soaking wet. And 68 years old too.

I fixed it!!!

Thanks but take that last yellow out too.;)

We workin on it;).

Widened mustang 16's.

Here's a super slow shot of a run. This was a few hours into the t&T so the tracktion wasn't that good then. But keep an eye on the rear tire. open it to full size to see better.
Oh well can't really see it thru the link but the rear tire wobles pretty bad.

Congrats on an MM first, Sherm. :congrats: Awesome pic !!!! :2thumbs: I remember you telling me at Safford L-M that those "skinnies" cut 30 pounds each wheel/tire combo.

Wow...:D

I'd like to hook that well some day.

Are those 'narrowed' Mustang/Marauder fronts?
And how well do these help other than weight?

Narrowed marauder wheels. Weight and rolling resistance. Not sure how much the time dropped with them I would think only a few hundrths, not much but they look cool.:D

Are you turning the rear air suspension off? I know I get some good suspension travel when mine is turned off and most of the air is out. Not that I every got a wheel off the ground but never know what the future may hold.

And he enjoys every minute of it, too. I think that's at least part of the secret to his "youthful" outlook. Sherm knows how to have fun and is a pleasure to be around. :2thumbs:

At N/A power levels, turning off the air suspension might help a little with weight transfer. At higher power levels, the car can bottom out hard, which has negative effects on traction. Generally when this becomes the case, anti-squat needs to increase using, for example, traction bars or other similar hardware.
