There is a few, I can't remember any names right now because I have a screaming hangover! I'm sure they'll post soon.

Eibach Springs makes a kit that lowers our car 1-1 1/2 inches. Dude, it looks sweet!

Camp Casey huh? I was at Camp Stanley 94-95. Does Korea still smell like $h!t? Drink some Soju for us!

.. and welcome to MM.net!

Hey guys,

We have adjusted our rear ride height sensor to lower the rear and I have order Eibach for the front. It looks great, talk to Dave. It looks really good on his car.

This is a picture Hack took at a local car show, it features the Eibach front spring set and lowered rear end. I still get comments and compliments on how good the lowered Marauder looks. It easy to notice when parked next to a stock Marauder.

It's beautiful!

Did it affect your ride quality?

It did make it stiffer, handles a lot better. Lowers the center of gravity so the car feels like its glued to the road. You do feel bumps more, but they arent jagged or rough, the springs have just enough to smooth bumps over and take the harsness from them. I personally love the look and other folks notice as well.

I am with Dave. Most of us who have doen this love the results. Even TAF's royal a$$ doesn't feel that the ride quality is worse with the lowering.

i think it looks alright, but personally i bought this car because it brought back the " Old School" Feel with the higher back end, the center console shift, the gauges and the overall menacing look and still a 4 door. Just MHO.

I must agree with "crom", I bought the car for just the same reason. The ride is just right and I like the look and height. I just finished a trip to West Virginia in my MM 300B (many blasts to 90-100 and up to 23 mpg much on 89 octane) and I would not want any stiffer suspension. But, mind you this is from a old goat member. You younger guys can take more. Just my $.02.

crom,

You don't lose the 'rake' with the springs...it enhances it!!! And the "muscle cars" I remember from the late '60s and early '70s...HAD a lowered front-end. But they never dreamed of handling like my Marauder.

Another gratuitous shot of mine...

I CAN'T WAIT to get the Eibachs and Dennis' sway bar installed!!! Did Eibach ever get their new shipment in yet? . . . and NOW, new control arms from Dennis!?!?!? Guess I'll have to postpone my Eibach install until the control arms are tested and ready for sale? I understand I would need a realignment after the springs are installed, and I'm assuming the same for the lower control arms, yes?

I would REALLY like to get an accelerometer device and do a skid pad test BEFORE and AFTER springs/sway bar/control arms. Has anyone tried these measurements with these installs yet?

Being that I just ordered the MMX shaft and the DR sway bar, I figured I'd continue spending $$ and order the front Eibachs. I did a few searches, but came up with nothing conclusive. Where can I get my hands on a set of front springs?? Does anyone have them in stock, or are we waiting for them to come in??

Be a man, Hair of the Dog is the only way to get rid of a hangover.

I like the lower look. I test drove a stock and did not like the handling to mushy for my taste. When I received the car from Kenny Brown on finally got to drive her (they lowered it 1 1/2 inches) I noticed a lot of improvement in handling. Just my $.02, put it on my tab.

TAF, after looking at the picture of your MM, I would have to say your right, it does enhance the raked look. Car looks great! Of course this car looks great either way.

Yes, the Kenny Brown treatment is nice. You really notice how low it is when parked to a stock MM. the ride is a bit stiffer, but the turns sure are nice....

I was of the opinion that lowering would lose some of "the look." That is until I saw Todd's car in person. The picture he posted doesn't do his ride justice, it is one sweet looking machine. The ride is a little "crisper," not harsh or any other bad sounding adjective you can think of. It even looks good smoking Impalas in the parking lot of a not to be named drag strip with some hot blond at the wheel!

Just add the Trilogy front and rear bumpers and you can park it all over illegal places and never get it towed!
