Good afternoon, Ladies and Gents!
I test drove a DTR '04 MM Thursday night and took delivery Friday afternoon, so it looks like I've got the second DTR MM in the group. She's the same car bigslim posted pics of earlier, bought right off the patio where he shot the pics, w/heated seats and 6-disk CD changer. She's been on the roads of Metro Detroit all weekend, and is exactly the spectacular ride everyone's been talking about! I traded a '98 Corvette for her, and don't miss the Vette a bit, especially considering the artillery-practice roads in SE Michigan. I think DTR will prove a worthy and popular substitute for Pearl Blue.
I've noticed that the hot Mustangs and Camaros around here ignore the MM, but all manner of Cadillacs and Olds Auroras can't resist challenging, and can't avoid being dusted by Dearborn's medium bomber. Even a BMW 7-series took a shot on a busy interstate, and had the luck the Luftwaffe had with the B-26s of yore (i.e. not much - the Marauder had the lowest loss rate in the ETO).
I've been lurking for a while, and now I hope to be a familiar tag line - and face, if I can make the get-togethers! Nice to meet y'all!
