the old saying applies more than ever "speed costs - how fast do you want to go?"

dennis,

we've got to do a little collaborating! i've got my "spare" 03 cobra motor on the motor stand just waiting to get "re-freshed".

at 550 rwhp in a 4200lb car the numbers work to somewhere 11.3 - 11.6 depending on gear, tires and wallet - etc. this sounds like a bit of fun.

i'm up for this adventure...let's talk.

Dennis, You're famous already. This may take you over the top.
I raced my MM last Wednesday night at the New England Dragway in Epping, NH. While waiting in the inspection line I had a lot of people come over to look & ask questions about the Marauder and what is it.
One of the guys said he had a Lincln Mark he raced. I told him there is a guy in Florida that has 550 RWP and that he had done work on my car and made many Marauder mods. He said, "Is that Reinhart"?
You da man

Well, on my Mark 8 last year at 450 RWHP and 4:10's with an IRS rear end the car ran 11.6 at 118 mph with over or at 550 RWHP the Marauder should go high 10's, we just reinstalled my Mark 8 motor it dyno 560RWHP I expect it to go 10' as well. Jim O'niel just sent me my motor for my 02 GT I used a 4 valve aluminum block bored 20 over with Manly rods Diamond pistons ARP fasteners fully ported and polished 2 Valve heads with stock GT cams I have a Vortech S. Trim on this with a huge air to air and the car will probably make 500 plus in a convertible.

I never sell any thing with out first testing the product myself, and that is going on now so it will be about three weeks before they go on sale.

And another thing....
When is Keith taking his car home?
Has he even laid eyes on the car IN PERSON since the transformation?
That is one patient man.

Now I'll have to get the heads done too :( Guys, Dennis is also putting together a Blue Marauder for me with all the goodies. Essentially the same as above except Chris Johnson will rebuild the stock engine with good parts. I wanted the world's fastest Marauder, so I may have to plan for some more goodies .....

It seems like building Marauders can be closely compared tp buying a computer....
In 6 months, there will be a faster one out there somewhere.
At what point or power level is the car just not fun to drive on the street anymore?
Ah, screw that thought.

Well David we will just have to wait and see, Jim O'Niel is doing a monster Big bore motor for my car, I have not spoken about this up grade but the best is to come, and in case any one wonders, David and I are very good friends with Jerry and Chris, and we will be having some very good information for the club in the near future.:D :D :D :D I have your Blue Marauder reserved in your name.
