I was really looking forward to this meet...now I'm on the fence, at best.
Marianne just informed me that we have a 50th wedding anniversary to attend on Saturday the 22nd.....at 12:00 PM.....:mad2:
I might get me a$$ in hot water and bail on the anniversary deal...I want to have some crabs & beer, bench race, and hang out with my fellow CAMmers!


** I can still check with G&M about roping off the entire back row of parking spots (me getting there extra early with a few parking cones)
and also check with the 'Lost in the 50's Car Club' about possibly getting all our late model Marauders into the lot for the Saturday evening cruise.

Don't do anything to PO Marianne, Joe. There is no statute of limitations on such things and you will hear about it periodically for the rest of your life especially if the 50th Anniversary is close family on either side. You would think that my wife would stop reminding me of the 4th Anniversary that I forgot nearly 30 years ago ......... but Noooooooooooooooooooo !!!! :rolleyes:

Of course, if it is just an aunt, uncle, cousin or acquaintenance then it is widely accepted that Crabcakes, Cars, and Friends trumps a "drag along" event that you probably won't enjoy anyway. ;) Your call, Buddy. :D

i went to G&M's tonight. man, their dining room was packed! people were parking at whitey's & walking over.

well, i found out that i may be able to leave work early. im supposed to get off @ 4, but my manager "owes me time" so i may be able to leave a little earlier. but i couldnt give a definite answer until the day of.

I'm still not sure, boss has big auction to go to and I am the money man, he gets in over his head and I have to pay, one of our competitors gone belly up and has lots of good stuff to sell.
I drove 11 hours in the rain on Saturday to pick up a dog and my car has never been so dirty, its going to be cold this week so I hope I get a chance to clean it.

A Dachshund, large male, brown smooth coat hunting dog. 21 pounds on his 9th month birthday today and growing. Hope he gets to top out 32 pounds the way they are in Germany. Good nose, mom and dad are ground dog champs and that is hard to find let alone what it means.

Joan and I will both be there with one or the other 'dirty' MMs. Got 3/4" snow in Hanover today at 1pm -- had to scrape/clean the rear window. Snow was gone by time I got to Laurel at 1:15pm.
