Heres a quick shot of my kenne-bell twin screw supercharger setup.I hope to be finished and on the dyno in the next few weeks. As some may know, the twin screw makes about 30% less heat then an eaton which equates to more power and longer engine life.I waited till triolgy started their installs as to not crap on their lawn.My hats go off to them for making a kit as they did, because this is not for the faint of heart to try and do.Every piece I either hand made or took some ford part and modded it to fit.Overall its coming along nice I think. This is also done with the steeda underdrive/balancer combo on it which makes fitting a lower pulley almost impossible.Any questions feel free to ask.Let me know what you think.Jeff

Did it start out as a Cobra kit?
Is it just the pic or is the intake not connected?
How much boost are you looking for?
I see an extra water tank, is that the charge cooler?

Looks good from the pics.
Is it safe to say your well under $5000 into the project?

cyclone,no kit.some ford parts, some hand made.yes the inlet will be out of a piece of 6061 billet made on a cnc machine.i am working on that this week and probaly into next also,,hehehe. If i added it up in the low 4k range at the moment, but its not over yet.Looking for about 8-9 lbs of boost, and yes i used the lincoln water bottle as the intercooler tank.

Very nice Jeff. I have been itching to see it for a while! I think you will have some bragging rights when you get it finished. I hope it runs as good as it looks....

I have been trying to find out whether my blue MM was the "first born" blue in the USA on 12/10/02. I look at your born date of 11/25/02. Is yours correct?

You have a "real oil gauge". Tell me how I can get the same thing.

Thanks.

John F.

The "real" oil pressure gauge is P/N 4327 by AutoMeter. It looks ALMOST exactly the same as the stock in daylight, but the night illumination is slightly different. I actually prefer the looks of the replacement...I find it more easily readable, especially at night...it's about $55 from Summit or from Jeg's...

It's an easy swap, the details of which have been described in a number of posts, but if you want to PM me, I can talk you through it...

Thanks zack,mac,merc306,nbc,and chapel.Hope i didnt forget anyone. Here are a few shots from this weekend at the cnc machine. The inlet manifold will be a 2 piece deal that bolts together with an o-ring seal. Now that the program is written(which took days to do)we started making chips today. This piece will be black powder coated when finished to give the oem look to it.Hopefully I can post more pictures by the end of the week if we find some time to work on this a few more nights. My hat goes off to Rod(aka Wolfmanjack) of RD-CNC.His input and help in this project is invaluble. Its always nice to have an idea turn into a reality!Hope everyone had a good time in ennis and made it home safely.Be well.....Jeff

Weekend update of the billet inlet we have been machineing on.This 1 piece deal houses the by-pass valve boss and also mounts the egr in the stock location. For the guys with the trilogy setup, this will be your next upgrade to use the kenne-bell twin screw. As a few here have noticed, when they changed to a larger pulley that little or no power was gained even though the boost went up.That is because the stock eaton is just maxed out.All its doing is heating the air which is not good for making power. The twin screw blower will go well into the 20+ pound range with little effort.I see already that I will be building a killer short block for this car next springtime, hehehe. If Jerry or Lidio is interested in this as an upgrade, please contact Rod over at RD-CNC,631-563-8389.Now that we have made this first piece and the program is proven, running more off should be alot easier. There is also a side piece that we are making that connects to the throttle body. Both pieces are sealed with an oring. The billet pieces are going to get black anodized this week.Hoping to get this thing running before the weather turns on me.Hope every1 is well, cya soon.....Jeff
