For awhile I have been getting rough idle from the car. I decided to do a compression check on the car. So I did the compression test on cylinders, and found out that cylinder number 8 was low. I wasn't suprised bout that, with the way the car ran. I put the car back together and drove over to the Ford Dealership. I told them what the problem was, plus to told them that I have a Power Train warranty on the car. Couple days later I received a phone call, sure enough I had a bad cylinder head. I asked if the repair will be under warranty. He said Yes! I asked him as to how much would it cost out of my pocket, if I didn't have the warranty. Oh, it would be around 3000 dollars. So i'm finally getting the problem resolved with nothing out of my pocket!!!!! The car is still at the dealership, almost 2 weeks. I'm not complaining, I would like to have the car back already, lol.

I think there is a $100 deductible on the extended warranty that you will be responsible for.

There is only a deductible if you paid less for the plan. If you are talking about ESP, if you paid more up front then you could get the deductible down to $50 or zero. I had a zero deductible plan for the 1 or 2 months I had my ESP before I cancelled it (vowing from then on out to just do the work myself)
